Born in Clarksburg, West Virginia, Erin P. Dyer completed his secondary education at Buckhannon-Upshur High School. Mr. Dyer graduated from West Virginia University in 1983 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting. Mr. Dyer received his law degree in 1986 from the West Virginia University College of Law and earned his Certified Public Accountant designation in 1987.
Mr. Dyer joined the Law Office of Michael J. Romano in 2016, bringing with him over 30 years of litigation experience. Before joining the firm, Mr. Dyer’s practice included civil litigation matters in both state and federal courts, real estate investment matters, title and lien resolution issues, creditors’ rights, and bankruptcy, as well as other business, commercial, and consumer transactions. Mr. Dyer handles complex litigation matters in both state and federal courts.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Dyer started his career with the accounting firm of Ernst & Young, a “Big Six” accounting firm then joined the Pittsburgh office of the law firm of Riley & DeFalice. Mr. Dyer formed the Dyer Law Firm in Pittsburgh in 1993 where he practiced for 22 years.
Licensed to practice law in West Virginia and Pennsylvania, Mr. Dyer has admittance to the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals, the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of West Virginia, the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals, the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals, the U.S. Tax Court, and the U.S. Supreme Court.
